On December 2nd, the Overseas Education Institute held a lecture on preparing for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) exams. Professor Yu Bin, Vice Dean of the School of Medical Technology at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was invited to deliver the lecture, which was attended by approximately 120 domestic and international students.
During the lecture, Professor Yu introduced the advantages of studying medicine and the current challenges faced by students. He also provided an overview of the healthcare employment system and medical professional systems abroad, with a special focus on detailed explanations of the timing, content, and key points of review for the PLAB and USMLE exams. Additionally, he shared insights into the medical education and training systems in the United Kingdom and the United States. Following the lecture, Professor Yu answered questions from students in attendance.
The students generally expressed that they greatly benefited from the lecture, gaining clearer insights into their future study plans and career development paths.
