VII. Application Conditions
1. Non Chinese citizens aged 18-30, graduated from high school or equivalent educational one, physically and mentally healthy (without color blindness or color weakness).
2. Those whose parents (one or both) are Chinese citizens and have settled in a foreign country, who have foreign nationality at the time of their birth, and who immigrate from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan to foreign countries, as applicants for studying in China, must hold valid foreign passports or international certification documents for at least 4 years, and there is a record of actual residence abroad for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of April 30th of the enrollment year).
3. Language Proficiency Requirements: For those whose native language is not English, English language proficiency must be supported by IELTS (IELTS score not less than 6.0, single item score not less than 5.0), TOEFL (Internet-based TOEFL score is not less than 85, single item score not less than 20, or paper-based TOEFL score is not less than 580) , or other equivalent English test scores; for those whose native language is English, they should submit an official proof of full English teaching at the middle school stage are exempt from submitting IELTS or TOEFL score certificates.
VIII. Application Method
Login to the international student service platform of Fujian Medical University (http://fjmu.liuguanbao.com/Account/Login/), complete the online application, and upload the required application materials.
IX. Application Materials
1. A scanned copy of the valid passport information page;
2. Certified highest education certificate/pre-graduation certificate (original scanned copy and English translation copy);
3. Notarized transcripts of all courses at the educational stage of the highest degree (original scanned copy and English translation copy);
4. ID photo (blue background 2-inch bareheaded photo);
5. Fujian Medical University’s Letter of Financial Guarantee for International Students in China, scanned copies of guarantee materials, and financial resources such as personal financial resources or family support, government support, financial guarantor support, etc.;
6. A scanned copy of the original Foreigner Physical Examination Form, which is uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department and must be filled out in Chinese or English;
7. Proof of language proficiency;
8. No-criminal record certificate.
★ Regardless of admission or not, the above materials will not be returned.

X. Review and Admission
The university reviews the completeness and authenticity of applicants’ materials, and organizes eligible applicants to participate in the entrance examination (divided into interview and written examination).
1. Interview: It focused on assessing the applicant’s comprehensive quality and language communication ability.
2.Written examination: Exam Subjects: English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
The university will conduct a comprehensive evaluation based on interview and written exam scores, and select the best candidates for admission.
★ Applicants can check the admission results on the international student service platform of Fujian Medical University, and the university will then send Admission Notice with the official seal of the university and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW202).
★After receiving the Admission Notice and Application Form for International Students to Study in China (JW202), applicants must bring the above materials, the original and photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Record, as well as their valid ordinary passport, to foreign visa agencies like the Chinese Embassy (Consulate General) to apply for a study visa (X1 visa) in China.

1. Please be sure to indicate the application number and applicant’s name when remitting the fee.
2. The application fee and tuition deposit will not be refunded if the student abandons his/her admission to the University due to personal reasons.
3. The application fee and tuition deposit will not be refunded to students who have been accepted and whose admission is canceled due to failure to meet the University's registration requirements at the time of registration.
4. Applicants in their final year of study will also be considered for admission. It is the applicant's responsibility to submit all required original documents (diplomas, degree certificate, transcripts, certificates of language proficiency, and other attached materials, etc.) at the time of registration. Failure to obtain and submit all required original documents will result in disqualification for admission.
5. Students must report to school with an X1 visa, otherwise the student will be responsible for any consequences.
XI. Registration Time
September 1st- 5th , 2025 (specific time will be based on the Admission Notice).
★ Freshmen shall bring the original documents such as the Admission Notice, Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW201/JW202), personal passport, medical examination certificate, etc. to School of Overseas Education to register and complete the registration procedures according to the deadline specified in the Admission Notice. Those who cannot report on time due to certain reasons should obtain the School’s consent in advance. Those who fail to report on time without approval shall be deemed to have waived their admission qualifications.
XII. Charging Standards
1. Registration Fee: RMB 800 per person (all registration fees are non refundable)
2. Tuition Fee: RMB 35,000/academic year
3. Accommodation Fee: RMB 4,000/person/academic year (double room)
4.Other Expenses: Those for teaching materials, meals, medical care, dormitory, water, electricity, Internet, comprehensive insurance, and residence permit application shall be paid by international students based on the actual situation.
