Ⅰ. Program Overview
The program curriculum is centered on Chinese language courses, supplemented by Chinese culture courses and subject bridging courses. It aims to enhance the Chinese language proficiency of international students in China, deepen their understanding and knowledge of China and Chinese culture, and cultivate their awareness and skills in cross-cultural communication. Upon the completion of the program and passing all examinations, international students will be awarded a certificate of completion issued by our university.
Ⅱ. Course Introduction
1. Chinese Language Courses
The Chinese language courses are primarily designed for learners with zero prior knowledge of Chinese. These courses adopt an intensive preparatory teaching model and follow the instructional principle of "precise explanations and extensive practice." Through training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, the program aims to develop learners' communicative competence in Chinese.
2. Chinese Culture Courses
Chinese culture courses provide learners with a platform to perceive Chinese culture and understand Chinese society. Through various cultural activities, participants can experience and gain insights into Chinese history and culture, while also sensing the development of contemporary Chinese society.
3. Discipline-Bridging Courses
Discipline-Bridging Courses: Preparatory courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are offered to help students consolidate foundational knowledge and build a solid academic base for future university studies in relevant majors.

Ⅴ. Application Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Non-Chinese citizens aged 18 to 29 (as of the date of registration), in good physical and mental health;
2. Hold a high school diploma or above with satisfactory academic performance;
3. Be friendly toward China and have no criminal record.
Ⅵ. Application Materials
1. Scanned copy of the information page of a valid passport;
Certificate of highest academic qualification. If the applicant is currently enrolled at a school, a pre-graduation certificate or certificate of enrollment issued by the current institution must be submitted;
2. Official academic transcripts for all completed courses (in Chinese or English);
3. Scanned copy of the original Foreigner Physical Examination Form issued by Chinese health and quarantine authorities (completed in Chinese or English);
4. Certificate of No Criminal Record.
Ⅶ. Fees
Tuition: RMB 9,000 per semester
Accommodation: RMB 2,000 per semester
Other fees shall be paid upon arrival at the university. For detailed information, please refer to the “Admission Application” section on the Overseas Education College website.
Ⅷ. Application Deadline
January 10, 2026 (Admission will close once the quota is filled.)
Ⅸ. Application Procedure

Log in to the Fujian Medical University International Student Service Platform: (https://studyinfjmu.fjmu.edu.cn/#/login),Complete the online application and upload all required documents as specified.
Ⅹ. Certificate Awarding
Students who successfully complete the program and pass all examinations will be granted a Certificate of Completion by Fujian Medical University. Outstanding students will be given priority recommendation for admission to degree programs at FJMU.
