December 20th, 2025--July 1st, 2026 (the applicants who will apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship Program must submit their applications to the international student dispatch department and the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the host country from January to early March 2026).
IV. Application Conditions
1. Non Chinese citizens aged 18-30, graduated from high school or equivalent educational one, physically and mentally healthy (without color blindness or color weakness).
2. Those whose parents (one or both) are Chinese citizens and have settled in a foreign country, who have foreign nationality at the time of their birth, and who immigrate from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan to foreign countries, as applicants for studying in China, must hold valid foreign passports or international certification documents for at least 4 years, and there is a record of actual residence abroad for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of April 30th of the enrollment year).
3. Language Proficiency Requirements: Applicants must have proof of HSK Level 4 (no less than 180 points) or other equivalent Chinese proficiency tests. Those whose medium of instruction during the whole learning period of the highest academic qualification is Chinese can be exempted from the certification of Chinese test results, but must submit the certification of Chinese teaching issued by the graduation college or university.
4. The previous academic performance shall meet one of the following requirements:
(1) Excellent performance in senior high school graduation examinations, with the score of mathematics no less than 70 points (out of 100 points), and the score of either physics or chemistry also no less than 70 points (out of 100 points).
(2) Having completed the Preparatory program recognized by our university and met the graduation standards.
5. A score not lower than 70 points (on a 100-point scale) in the entrance interview (conducted remotely or on campus).
V. Application Materials
1. A scanned copy of the valid passport information page.
2. Certified highest education certificate/pre-graduation certificate (original scanned copy and English translation copy).
3. Notarized transcripts of all courses at the educational stage of the highest degree (original scanned copy and English translation copy).
4. ID photo (blue background 2-inch bareheaded photo).
5. Fujian Medical University's Letter of Financial Guarantee for International Students in China, scanned copies of guarantee materials, and financial resources such as personal financial resources or family support, government support, financial guarantor support, etc.
6. A scanned copy of the original
Physical Examination Form for Foreigners.pdf, which is uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department and must be filled out in Chinese or English.
7. Proof of language proficiency.
8. No-criminal record certificate.
9. Score report of the Academic Proficiency Test for Undergraduate Admission of International Students to China (CSCA) (Mathematics is a compulsory subject; either Physics or Chemistry may be chosen as an additional subject).

VI. Application Method
1. Non Chinese Government Scholarship applicants log on to the international student service platform of Fujian Medical University ( https://studyinfjmu.fjmu.edu.cn/#/login)complete the online application, and upload the required application materials.

VII. Review
1. Non Chinese Government Scholarship Program
The university reviews the completeness and authenticity of applicants' materials, and organizes eligible applicants to participate in the entrance examination (divided into interview and written examination).
(1) Interview: It focused on assessing the applicant's comprehensive quality and language communication ability.
(2) Written examination: Exam Subjects: English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
Applicants who have obtained a valid score report of the Academic Proficiency Test for Undergraduate Admission of International Students to China (CSCA) may use it in lieu of the above-mentioned examinations.
★ The university will conduct a comprehensive evaluation based on interview and written exam scores, and select the best candidates for admission.
★ According to the actual situation, exam related information may be adjusted. Please pay attention to the website and email notification of the School of Overseas Education of Fujian Medical University.
2. Chinese Government Scholarship Program
The university reviews the completeness and authenticity of the applicant's materials, and adopts interview assessment based on his/her situation and professional requirements.
VIII. Admission
1. Pre-admission
The pre-admission notice will be issued in batches starting from January 2026. Applicants for self-funded programs must confirm their acceptance by prepaying the tuition fee within the deadline specified in the pre-admission notice; otherwise, they will be considered to have waived their pre-admission qualification.
2. Formal Admission
Applicants can check the admission results on the Fujian Medical University International Student Service Platform. The university will subsequently send the official Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (JW201/JW202), both affixed with the university's official seal.
3. Visa Application
After receiving the Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (JW201/JW202), students must apply for a Chinese student visa (X1 visa) at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate or other overseas visa authorities. The application must be submitted with the originals and copies of the aforementioned documents, the original Foreigner Physical Examination Record, and the student's own valid ordinary passport.
IX. Enrollment Time
Enrollment is scheduled for September 2026. The specific date will be indicated in the Admission Notice.
★ New students must report to the School of Overseas Education within the period specified in the Admission Notice, bringing the original documents including the Admission Notice, Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (JW201/JW202), personal passport, and physical examination certificate to complete registration procedures. Those unable to report on time due to specific reasons must obtain prior consent from the university. Failure to report within two weeks after the deadline without approval will be deemed a waiver of admission qualification.
★ Students must report to the university with an X1 visa; otherwise, they shall bear any consequences arising therefrom.
X. Charging Standards
1. Registration Fee: RMB 800 per person (all registration fees are non refundable)
2. Tuition Fee: RMB 35,000/academic year
3. Accommodation Fee: RMB 4,000/person/academic year (double room)
4. Other Expenses: Those for teaching materials, meals, medical care, dormitory, water, electricity, Internet, comprehensive insurance, and residence permit application shall be paid by international students based on the actual situation.

★ The students who have obtained full scholarships from the Chinese Government are exempt from registration fees, tuition fees, accommodation fees, and comprehensive medical insurance premiums.
