To all relevant Schools/Departments and Overseas Education College Undergraduates:
In accordance with the spirit of the Fujian Medical University Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program Project Management Measures (2023 Revision)(Min Yi Da [2024] No. 7), the College has decided to carry out the application work for thecollege-level projectapproval of the “Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program” (hereinafter referred to as the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Projects”) for undergraduate students of our College.The relevant specific matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Content of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Projects
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Projects are divided into three categories:Type A Innovation Training Projects, Entrepreneurship Training Projects, and Entrepreneurship Practice Projects.
(I) Type A Innovation Training Projects
Individuals or teams of undergraduate students from Clinical Medicine (English-taught), Stomatology (English-taught), and all majors (Chinese-taught) of our College shall, under the guidance ofa supervisor, independently complete the design of innovative research projects, preparation of research conditions and project implementation, writing of research reports, and (academic) exchange of results.
(II) Entrepreneurship Training Projects
Under the guidance ofa supervisor, undergraduate teams, with each student in the team assuming one or more specific roles during project implementation, shall complete the preparation of business plans, feasibility studies, simulated enterprise operations, and the writing of entrepreneurship reports.
(III) Entrepreneurship Practice Projects
Guided by university mentors in collaboration with external mentors, student teams shall use the results of innovation training projects or innovative experiments to propose innovative products or services with market prospects and carry out entrepreneurship practice activities based on these results.
II. Application Requirements for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Projects
(I) Supervisors
1. Project supervisors shall be teachers with intermediate or higher professional titles, with certain research project funding support, strong sense of responsibility, relatively high academic standards, upright academic conduct, and rigorous scholarship. Supervisors shall conscientiously perform their duties, strengthen process guidance, regularly organize students for discussion and exchanges, and guide and supervise students to complete projects with guaranteed quality and quantity on time and to achieve expected outcomes.
2. Supervisors for Innovation Training Projects and Entrepreneurship Training Projects shall be university teachers, while Entrepreneurship Practice Projects shallrequire joint supervision by both university and external mentors.Students may engage supervisors across majors according to project needs.Each supervisor may guide no more than 2 projects per batch, and the cumulative number of ongoing projects under supervision shall not exceed 4.
(II) Application Teams
1. Project leaders for college-level projects in this application round may be any currently enrolled international undergraduate studentat ourUniversity, with the exception of final-year students.
2. Applications shall mainly be submitted by teams.Each team generally consists of 2 to 5students and may invite 1 or 2 Chinese students to join.In principle, each student may participate in only one project in the same academic year.Students whoare already participating in a project that has not yet been completed shall not participate in projects of the following year.
(III) Project Requirements
1. The research content of the applied project must not be identical or similar to projects approved in previous years, nor to the research content of any ongoing projects of the supervisor.As the primary person responsible, the supervisor shall strictly comply with the relevant provisions of the Fujian Medical University Academic Standards andconduct plagiarism checks and duplicate review on the application content of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program projects they supervise.
2. If students engage in behaviors such as falsification, plagiarism, or maliciously obtaining project funds during the project application or research process, such behaviors shall be treated asexamination cheating and shall be seriously handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Fujian Medical University Student Disciplinary Punishment Management Regulations.Students participating in projects shall make full use of vacations and extracurricular time to complete the research plan and shall not occupy classroom teaching time.At the same time, each project shall complete its project completion work on schedule in accordance with the requirements of the project contract.
3. The project period is from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
(IV) Application for University-Level and Higher-Level Projects
The college will select a number of outstanding projects for funding, with a grant of RMB 3,000 per project. The Type A projects approved at the college level in this round will serve as the basis for recommending applications to the university for 2026 university-level, provincial-level, and national-level projects. The research of university-level and higher-level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Projects, as well as their completion and acceptance shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant documents of the University. Projects that fail to be approved as university-level or higher Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program projects may continue as college-level approved projects for further research.
(V) Project Completion and Acceptance
For project completion andacceptance, the project leader shall submit the project completion report on time along with relevant supporting materials such as papers, patents, and physical exhibits. The completion materials shall be submitted to the Overseas Education College after being reviewed by the supervisor. The College will organize an expert group to conduct a review of the project’s completion status.
III. Schedule
(I) Project Application
1. Project Application Period (Deadline: January 31, 24:00)
Applicant students shall proactively contact supervisors for topic selection and prepare the project application materials. All applicants must complete the Project Information Questionnaire, as a mandatory registration step, via the QR code below by 24:00 on January 31, 2026:

Please print two double-sided copies on A4 paper, bind them on the left side, and ensure that handwritten signatures from all project team members and the supervising instructor are complete.
(II) Project Review
The Overseas Education College will organize expert reviews to determine the2026 college-level approved projects of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program.
IV. Submission of Materials
The project leader shall submit the above hard-copy application materials to the Student Affairs Office of the Overseas Education College (Room 304, Overseas Education College, Qishan Campus) before March 11.
